And a young man's fancy turns to thoughts of love. So the poet wrote, anyway. I'm not really a young man any more (although my wife maintains that I am 12 years old, mentally), so what should my thoughts turn to as this Spring solstice passes?
There's school, of course -- lots to do, but things are going well in all my classes. I'm hoping to pull off straight A's this semester, now that Algebra is no longer part of my routine. I started the semester with Lakota Language I as well but dropped it after the first session when I had the distinct sensation that someone had thrown me in to the deep end of a swimming pool, and that I was drowning.
I hope to take it this summer, when I may be able to find a section that has classes four afternoons a week for an hour or so instead of one four hour class a week; in addition, if it's the only class I'm taking, I may be able to keep my head above water. Do you like my learning to swim metaphor?
At any rate, life seems to maintain a fairly even keel these days. Keeping my health stable is always a bit of a challenge, but all things considered, my dialysis numbers have been good.
Until next time,
P2
